I'm still resentful that 23-4 team that beat Wisconsin at the Fieldhouse didn't get an NIT bid. And even more infuriating, Wisconsin did get an NIT bid that year! That is exactly what I was referring to. If memory serves, they hosted St. Louis.

Madison made it to the NIT that year? Now I'm infuriated.

To get a sense of just how long it has been since the Uni of Milwaukee Basketball program has had success in a season, these are the program's Top 10 seasons in Division 1: View AttachmentA lot of people talk about Bo and Bruce, but Steve A. got us permanently into Division 1. I believe I read Coach Steve posted a 27-3 record in 94-95. One of the programs most solid performances.

Pretty much the opposite: 3-24. The wheels had begun to come off and he had a lot of meal money that year as well.

Thanks for the correction. Just catching up on program history. I definitely misread.

Amazing link. This is mandatory viewing for everyone on the board. Cool to see Antrim in all his glory, but how about that awesome young interviewer, our own GoD! Nice job, Paul.

Antrim "in all his glory" was taking $200 meals at steakhouses and expensing it to the program as feeding the team, then giving the players Dominos.

He wasn't even getting them za from the pizza joint on Downer whose name escapes me due to far too many trips to North Ave? GoD - looking good! BTW, that WI team had a dude on it named Michael Finley. He turned out to be OK... Tracy Webster as well.

Was the pizza joint Bodolino's?! Yes! Bodolino's! Thank you! Now, I can sleep tonight... I've been lurking on the board for a while, but I made an account just to comment about Bodolino's. It was the best pizza I ever had! The sauce was phenomenal. From my understanding, the same family that owns Ned's also owned Bodolino's. Sorry to derail this thread. I love Lundy and the direction the team is headed
