To get a sense of just how long it has been since the Uni of Milwaukee Basketball program has had success in a season, these are the program's Top 10 seasons in Division 1: View AttachmentWith all due respect to Jeter’s other seasons, his 2010-11 season was the only time they finished in the top 3 in the conference since Jeter’s first year (and they finished 1st, over the National runner up!), and they beat national runner up Butler twice. That season belongs on the list above some of those 4th and 5th place teams.

That season belongs on the list above some of those 4th and 5th place teams. I would say that was his third-best team at the END of the season, after '06 and '14.

My favorite team of course was the Sweet 16 team, but I think that the '92-93 team is too often forgotten.

My favorite team of course was the Sweet 16 team, but I think that the '92-93 team is too often forgotten. Fun to watch, beat Wisconsin at their place and a great W-L record, but played predominantly a weak schedule.

No question it would have been sweet for the 23-4 team to get an NIT bid. It was one of the more entertaining teams in Panther history. While the win at Madison was big for the Panther program, it was not what we have come to know as a "quality" win. Madison ended the season 8th in the ten team Big 10, and 14-14 overall. We needed more "quality" wins than that.
