This belongs here. I wondered if the Hill, which was used under Bo Ryan/Bruce Pearl/Rob Jeter/LaVall Jordan/early PBS was going to make a comeback, and Bart had a very short response:
I was hoping for a bit more explanation, and I got it from both Michael Cooper and Jose Winston:
Honestly, I love it. The Hill was a nice tradition but it's definitely taking a chunk out of time the coaching staff might have other ideas on how to do conditioning. And I really appreciated Cooper and Jose expanding upon Coach Lundy's answer.

Elite? Yikes. What is this, Minnesota football?
I’m sure Lundy has his own methods and practices. That’s good. But I really don’t care. We’ll know where this is all going in March, not before. After 6 catastrophic seasons only a fool would let himself get sucked in by hype. Results are the only thing that counts now.

While I don’t disagree with what you’re saying, I do think we have a right to share our optimism on this forum without constantly being reminded how foolish we are to be excited because of how much we sucked the year before. We haven’t finished better than 5th place in 10 years. Optimism is basically the only thing we all have left at this point. And there’s really not much else for us to talk about this time of year. The fact that we have a competent individual with 20 years experience as a head coach (and 433 wins) is about the most exciting thing we’ve had happen in the last 15+ years outside of our tournament appearance in 2014. Is there a chance he’s a bust? Sure. But I’d say there’s a much better chance he turns this program around once and for all. And that has me VERY optimistic. If I end up being wrong, then shame on me for being duped yet again.

I love the coaching staffs response. As much fun as the BP era was, it’s time to move on. This fan base can be a bit like the Chicago Bears fans constantly talking about ‘85.
It’s a brand new era, and the hill is gone. RIP hill. Can’t wait to see what this staff has in store. I like the swagger.

To me, the naivety is refreshing. I would much rather have a coach and staff who think the sky is the limit. The alternative is to be adversely affected by potentially self defeating thoughts. This program has had too much of the latter for nearly a generation.
I heard from a very credible source that at a summer event, Amanda Braun commented about what she apparently sees as Lundy's overly positive mindset. I hope she stays out of the way and does nothing to alter this. Given all the right things she has done with men's basketball this year (in contrast to prior ones), perhaps she will.

Boot Camp Complete. Love the excitement of these guys. Time to forget about the last few years and win some games.

A real fool would hold the past 6 seasons of Milwaukee Panthers basketball against the new head coach and his new coaching staff while disregarding the new head coach's track record of success as a collegiate head coach of 20 seasons.

I’m excited and optimistic towards the future of the program with Coach Lundy as its head coach due to Coach Lundy's track record of success as a collegiate head coach.
Here’s an overview of Coach Lundy’s record as a collegiate head coach:

It was their first game at D1 Which I'm sure is a lot of the allure but they also have had years of tremendous success. Winning brings fans.

Looked up the attendance last night for Queens last night. Over 1500. Pretty good as most games last year had games if 100 to 300m

We will see what kind of coach Lundy is, dealing with the turnover bug.
