Thanks for the link, that's a great little segment on the team. I love those clips from the locker room and in the huddle

Seems like the players are in support of Bart Lundy's coaching. Get the team to grow a little at a time.

I know some people have their doubts about Bart staying long-term, but I'm optimistic for two reasons:
1. Each of Bart's head coaching stints have lasted at least 5 years. Any shorter stints were when he was an assistant. He doesn't seem to be the kind of guy to just hop up and leave. 2. He has some good Milwaukee roots. I may be wrong, but I believe his wife is from Shorewood, so staying close to home for his family could be big for him.
And, who knows, some coaches prefer the challenge of building a program up. John Wooden built a brand new program at UCLA, John Thompson turned Georgetown into a big time program too.
Things could change with Bart, but I feel like when talking with him, he's looking to build a new foundation with this program.

Wooden started at UCLA in 1948.

Let’s slow down a bit. Lundy has 5 d1 victories so I don’t think he’s leaving for a promotion anytime soon. Let’s just enjoy the ride for now.

Yeah Bart would have to have such a level of immense success to make a reasonable jump IMO, that if we make the sweet 16 or something insane and he leaves how can you even be mad. I dont spend 1 second worrying about our coach leaving for a "better" job. Its Bart's job to make this program better.

The best part of this thread is reading Fran's nonsense. Pretty funny he is nowhere to be found since this season has been a giant success thus far. But according to him earlier in this thread,he is right about everything.

He apparently said out loud in Goolsby's, after their win over RMU, unprompted, "I love Milwaukee!" He is definitely here for the long run, and what he's done this year is just mind-blowing to experience.

we have 15 wins already this season. there were stretches under Baldwin where we wouldnt win 15 games in TWO seasons combined.
