Lets be real, this is not a desirable job right now. As long as there is no new AD, it won't matter. Let's find a winning D2 coach, and let them rebuild this thing. And fire Braun now!!! This is my best play, there is potential for this program though and the right coach will see that and thrive. The level of team needed to dominate this conference is not that great. Would love to press the university into BMC but I dont see it happening. Will be interesting to see what his actual salary is. |

Yeah I saw that too their whole program cost is like 1 mil is all i could find. The problem being that he will require a large salary as his job is pretty great id imagine and he has 3 kids. Seems like the guy though for me. I still think not bringing in some WIAC coaches is a mistake. Why not give those guys the interview shot and see if theres a diamond in the rough. |

My point was that Google was showing the wrong university under Ben McCollum when you Google his name. That’s where I think the $425K salary through 2025 was coming from. |

Davenport is a Louisville lifer. Born there, went to UL, coached high school ball in the city, and was an assistant at UL before getting the Bellarmine head job. Plus he's in his 60s. I don't see him leaving, at least not for UWM. True but could you imagine? The returning players would have to change from a no movement dribble-Rama offense to something that requires so much passing and teamwork. That would be a shock. would it be a shock. Or would they be happy to play movement basketball? |

I get your comments although great likelihood is that keeping AB and her hiring a great coach seems like an oxymoron and totally counterintuitive. Like many here I think she is toxic and needs to be gone. That being said I am ready to face reality and start developing some positive thoughts and energy rather than staying in ghetto of negativity and inability to move on from AB hate feelings.....frankly, I would bet whats left of my 401k that she is definitely here at least one more year. They are not going to fire her before her contract expires and would be surprised if she does not get an extension however undeserved. We can rant and rail and throw out slogans but the Burgermesiter Mone is not listening and wont even if we keep up the torches and pitchforks
