Really exciting to see Ben at the top of that list. That would be an amazing hire for a number of reasons. Mostly, he’s a winner, and he seems the type that might stick around for a while. The other two candidates listed are not bad. |

The candidates should be the priority in that order although McCollum should really be choices 1-4. Lundy is intriguing and has a solid resume but Gouard needs more experience IMO.

I think all 3 solid and in the order above however would have to get used to Lundy if hired because of his Marquette past.

Looking at Gouard's backgroun looks like he could be considered coming from the Pearl tree....played for him at SIU. Would that negate him in some people's minds on the board?

BMC is the hire, hopefully thats it, ill reup same day and im pretty sure I could sell a few people to get into them too.

Would love to see us hire Ben. Not to mention, you would imagine that he would be able to bring a few guys over from D2. The leader of last years team is a Junior who averaged 24 ppg on 48/42/92 slash. 6 foot PG. If JUCO guys can make the jump, so can D2. I would hire him NOW!!!!

1. Isn't this projected top 3 list, a bit underwhelming? Is anyone blown away?
2. Why is it important for the next Coach to have state/WIAC ties? We only have 2/15 players on our roster from Wisconsin (1 was hurt most of the season and the other didn't play much). The top players in our state will not be coming here any time soon.

Actually I am "somewehat blown away". I think it is very good. Would be thrilled with any of the 3 and also Shay, Prohm, Darner
