Remember we were talking about Austin Claunch? His salary is only $130,000 right now.. Anybody know anything about Chris Jans ($290,000) or Jack Perri? Maybe they wouldn't be a fit for Milwaukee. But their record certainly speaks for itself. As someone who follows a WAC team, I see a lot of Chris Jans. No way does he leave NMSU which is going to CUSA for an HL school. He will have better opportunities.

It would be a huge mistake to pick someone without head coaching experience. Welcome new poster. 👀

This is Wins, Losses, Winning % (Overall and Conf) since 2014-2015 season (through 2021-2022 team records as they stand today). I filtered it to only show coaches that have at least .600 overall winning % and at least .650 conference winning percentage.

Is there any chance AB can convince Larry Krystkowiak to come back to Milwaukee? He had a lot good years in Utah, in a tough conference and he may want a second chance to revive his career.

I could certainly get behind Austin Claunch if Steve Prohm and Linc Darner are unavailable/undesirable.

I just don’t understand the desire to consider Linc Darner. He was average at GB and got fired from there. He has yet to get another head coaching job. I think we can do better.

Larry K would be a great hire. The thing is though what would entice him? Pedigree low, salary low, working for AB...in short why would be change his life to come here?

What is your definition of "average?" He finished well better than we did in the standings every year he was there, with half the resources.

I would hope AB would make a award winning sales pitch better than she made to the MVC. I want Milwaukee to swing big on their top tier options. Larry Krystkowiak would be far fetched but he’s available, as of now. He’s a major upgrade and an big-time hire that would revitalize the fan base.

I think this is the point where this thread "jumped the shark." 🤣

In Year 1, I distinctly recall one of the best games I've ever seen at The Arena going our way. It used to be a fantastic rivalry.

I’d rather they hire Shay over Darner. I doubt Darner will be considered. Hard to energize a fan base over hiring a former GB coach who got fired.
