Stat that pops off the page. 18-35 from three for Detroit. Panthers 6-26. Detroit got 36 more points than the Panthers behind the arc.

Stat that says it all: we are 63-104 since Braun flushed our program down the toilet.

They have been shooting bad from behind the arc all season, but for some reason keeping shooting them. No change in philosophy or coaching. Are they making them in practice?

PBS: 52-79 Jeter: 184-170
Oh, how I wish we had a coach that could be called a "5th Placer" even more now.

Some of the most infamous words ever uttered at our University were "This is a pull-out bleacher school."
Well, now we've made those words a reality. What an abomination!

PBS: 52-79 Jeter: 184-170 Oh, how I wish we had a coach that could be called a "5th Placer" even more now. Hey now, don't use this to defend Jeter's mediocrity, you 5th placer. He literally was a 5th place head coach over 11 Horizon League seasons. Some of us want better than that, and we recognize Baldwin's incompetence as a HC just as much as you do, even if you couldn't recognize Jeter's

And that wasn't sarcasm btw. People like you are literally 5th placers. Stop telling on yourself... Or don't, because it's kind of hilarious!

We should literally pray to have a coach and program as good as Jeter’s ever again. Don’t count on it ever happening as long as AB is around.

Uhhh, we should pray to have a coach/program that averages 5th place over 11 seasons in our conference? Come on Fran, I love you and I know you love this program as much as I do. And I realize how terrible of an AD Amanda Braun is, just like you do... but this is a terrible take. We need to push for better, without defending Jeter.

JT ain’t giving up. Melo ain’t giving up. Let’s press and transition and see if we can make it interesting. I know there’s a lot of negativity in these threads during losses, and I’m usually a source of it, but I do appreciate your optimism. I know not everyone does, but it’s a nice change of pace. I just hope that you’re not the AD, using this as an excuse to keep PBS 😉

You are totally missing the point. No matter whether you think Jeter was a good coach or not, there is NO chance we will EVER have as good a program as we had under Jeter as long as our athletic program has its current leadership.
But as I have observed many times, your opinion about Jeter was that of a (literally) vanishing minority. The great majority of our fans, boosters and sponsors simply left the program in reaction to Braun’s idiotic and disingenuous decision and have never returned. Over and over before the program was imploded many of us warned the loud minority complaining about a consistently winning coach and program to be careful what you wished for. Well, you got it. Unfortunately, so did the rest of us.
