I nearly made my first sports bet in my entire life last game when I saw we were favored by double digits at home vs Alcorn State - and it would have been against us. I so regret not doing it, because I would have wagered 4 figures, and I would have made so much!
Chad (Spirit of Bruce), I'm surprised you haven't been doing the same thing! Or have you?

On a side note, the reason I almost did despite having never gambled once in my life (and I am still considering doing so), is because when you love a team as much as we all love the Panthers, but know how bad their coach is, if you hedge your bets like this, it makes even the most painful, disappointing losses - aka practically every Pat Baldwin coached game - able to be a big win. And the situation a win-win, because no matter what, either your team is winning, or your pocketbook is.

Really? Had the Panthers beaten the spread in a regular season non-conference game and you would have lost a four figure sum it would have felt like a win-win?
I can't relate to that. I value my money a lot more, I guess.
