Milwaukee Panthers (1-5) Things were off to a good start for the team, with five-star freshman Patrick Baldwin Jr. going for 21 points and 10 rebounds in a win over North Dakota. But since then, they’ve lost five straight, including to Yale and Alcorn State. Baldwin Jr. has been dealing with back problems and missed the last two games but reportedly should be good to go this week in league play. Even without Baldwin, the Panthers’ supporting cast has been bad outside of leading scorer Deandre Gholston (15.0 ppg). None of the multiple incoming transfers have provided much of an impact and only sophomore point guard Donovan Newby (9.0 ppg and 3.0 apg) has provided much offensively. As good as Baldwin Jr. is, Milwaukee will need the others to step up or risk having an embarrassingly rough start in league play." |

PBJ has no compete. I read a couple of the National draft experts and they have said scouts have question his compete level. I didn’t believe it at first but he continues to sit out in games the Panthers desperately need to win to end this losing streak. If he was seriously hurt, why would his dad call him day to day?

PBJ has no compete. I read a couple of the National draft experts and they have said scouts have question his compete level. I didn’t believe it at first but he continues to sit out in games the Panthers desperately need to win to end this losing streak. If he was seriously hurt, why would his dad call him day to FAU? Does is look like the letters b-u-s-t are looking more like B-U-S-T with each passing hour. I am not saying it is yet, but the foundation for it is building more and more. |

Desperately need to win is tad dramatic, realistically this is the first game of the season that actually matters. Saying the kid has no compete is a bit unfair imo. |

15-15 at the under 12 timeout. The Panthers seem to at least be trying to establish an inside game, and one big positive so far is that they’ve only taken two 3 point shots so far. We’ll see how long this lasts, but this seems to be a slight improvement over Alcorn State (not that that’s a huge hurdle).

Sinani is starting. They obviously don’t want to win. He might be the worst Panther I have ever watched. Not the worse but he’s struggling defensively. The Alcorn State guards were growing right past him every time. On on positive note, there’s more than 4 students at the game. |

And just as I say that, the Panthers take another five three point shots in under 4 minutes and have only added 2 points to their score in that timeframe. At least one airball and Lathon may have narrowly avoided an airball.
