It should open your eyes to how far we've fallen that the likes of UMKC and UT Arlington have surpassed us. While there’s some truth in that, by that logic, Wright State, Northern Kentucky, and UIC are also below UMKC and UTA (who lost to UNT by 28 yesterday, probably an even worse showing than MKE yesterday). There has to be more than men’s basketball dominance about the choice of these two programs. I have no idea what, though. Yup, say what you want about Milwaukee but NKU clearly hasn't "fallen behind" UTA or KC. The conference that missed out on Ja Morant when it spurned Murray State last time around isn't tripping over itself to invite them this time. Might need to consider that the decision makers in the MVC sometimes do dumb sh!t. (Also...losing by 28 doesn't quite describe the ass-whooping they took. 43-12 at the half, UNT's leading scorer single-handedly outscored them at the break) |

If Murray State were to jump to the Valley, and Belmont is in the process already, if I were Wright State and NKU I'd be calling the OVC. Just about any way out of the HL is the right way at this point.

Just about any way out of the HL is the right way at this point. You'd jump to the OVC....because the rest of the good teams are leaving? Without Belmont, Murray State, Jacksonville State, Eastern Kentucky and Austin Peay the OVC is a mess. Southeast Missouri State, the second highest rated team that's still going to be there (assuming Murray leaves) got absolutely run out of the gym by Youngstown. I know you've got a serious doom & gloom thing about the Horizon League, but the OVC is far worse off right now. |

Dude Jimmy, please stop trying to create divisiveness where there isn't any. We all want a winning program, and we all know it requires a winning coach, which we don't have. And that means having a competent AD appointed by an administration that will hire a winning coach... which we don't have. Which thing should we be focusing on?
Hint: THE ADMINISTRATION THAT PICKS THE AD WHO DOESN'T EVEN ACTUALLY PICK THE COACH. Again for those who haven't paid attention (which seems to be 99% of this message board)... OUR A.D. DIDN'T EVEN PICK OUR LAST COACH!!!!!!!
When are any of our few remaining fans going to start focusing on the actual problem, despite the facts of what is happening being thrown in their face???

I thought you made a commitment to stop the negativity and eventually help reinvigorate the fan base by helping to bring the Black & Gold Club back to life and/or some other means. What happenned? The program is no different now (unfortunately) than when you communicated that. |

The MVC doesnt want Milwaukee as a market.
If they go for a market they will look for another Chicago school.
Our basketball team has zero credibility, and we have no other major sports. So it relies on market only.
If the MVC wants Milwaukee, they will ask. If they want something else, like they are losing (Chicago) they will seek that out.
