Brewers win 8-3, Yelich collects his first homer and everyone in the lineup gets a hit except for Arcia who had all 3 hits yesterday. baseball is weird sometimes.

"Stomp your feet! Clap your hands! You're part of the team sittin' in the stands!"

The baseball has been pretty good without fan. It's the best when the announcers are at the game. Meaning Brewers home games.

The "crowd" actually sounds pretty good, but it's even better to hear the players from the dugouts on big plays.

I liked the occasional computer animated crowd shots on today's Brewers vs Cubs game on Fox. We watch sports for fun, and that added to the fun.

I'm just so excited about this experiment and the return of LIVE sports! Every game this year has 2.7 times the typical meaning!!!

Well, we're already 5% of the way through a season that's going to move VERY fast. It's time to address the "Sogard Problem." Do you first drop him down in the order and move Cain back to the top ... or do you pull him from the lineup altogether?

For the past several seasons, the Brewer offsense has been feast or famine. They either seem to hit the opposition very well (e.g. their 8-3 victory)or very poorly (being shut out or scoring one run in their losses).
It has to be frustrating at times to pitch for such a team. On days your offense is not hitting, you practically have to throw a shut out yourself for the team to have a chance of winning at all.
They have managed significantly more wins than they have losses for in these recent seasons, But I can generally tell from the first few innings whether or not they're going to win a game.

the marlins thing has me shaking my head. you had 4 players test positive for covid before the game then other players and stff tested positive afterwards. Should be, once you had a positive test you postpone the game. This is the reason Canada refused to let the Blue Jays play in Toronto. Other teams coming in and raising the risk of an outbreak.

...once you had a positive test you postpone the game. Right, just like postponement of the Milkmen game in their season opening series after a couple of positive tests.

...once you had a positive test you postpone the game. Right, just like postponement of the Milkmen game in their season opening series after a couple of positive tests. Alarmists in CF and the media, will be quick to say that. The media especially because some reporters want to run out so far in front of story, then hope their prediction comes to fruition, so they can say, “I called it.” Maybe we need to learn from the Milkman. They are rolling on fine.
