You mean senior day 2014. All Coach Jeter did after that was rally the team to five straight wins, including road wins at Green Bay and at Wright State to put us in the NCAA tournament. How many YEARS away from even DREAMING about the NCAA tournament is this program now? Would anyone here (yeah, the six or eight people who are left) even bet $100 that this team will win five games yet this season!?
We are what YSU used to be. We are what UIC used to be. We are the dregs of the worst Horizon League in history.
Congrats AD Braun, you really did a number on this program.

Easily the most embarrassing home conference loss in...20 years? I was thinking. Worse since Senior Day 2011 to UIC. Do you mean 2014?

Just back from the game. The thing that concerns me the most, even more than results, is that only 650 or so people are showing up on a regular basis to watch ... and that's if you include the ushers, cheerleaders, dance team and the Greendale High School band! UWM, we have a PROBLEM!!!

I really now only go to the games to see my friends, but fewer and fewer of them are bothering to go. I think that I saw SRT, 'Holic and Pounce today.

Hate to talk about the past as if there were great times under Jeter. Bruce Pearl was a renegade but a good coach. That is how far back one has to go to be nostalgic for the good times. That said, this is a dismal loss. No legs, no energy, no game plan to beat a team that should have been more exhausted than The Panthers. Bad luck losing LaVall but a stubborn move on Braun’s part to hire anyone without head coaching experience when the carousel of experienced coaches keeps rolling along. So Baldwin is learning on the job as the fans suffer. Attendance is terrible and will only improve with consistent effort and more wins than losses. That should not be that difficult to achieve for a school the size of UWM in a state that is producing D1 recruits at a record clip and going elsewhere. More wins than losses should not be a lofty goal in the Horizon League. I am tired of waiting for next year but I will give Braun and Baldwin one more year. After next year if there are more losses than wins and any no effort games I will set up a table to get signatures demanding their removal. I just don’t get it anymore.

Let's pray that Ms. Braun doesn't get a FULL year because a full year would mean AT LEAST TWO more years ... and that could be curtains for our program.

End of next season if there's no noticeable improvement I'll stop buying tickets and stop watching as many games online. Checking scores online will be my primary means of following the program.

The problem is that if the few of us who remain stop buying tickets, the program will die sooner rather than later (and that may be what they want)! The answer is to DEMAND CHANGE NOW!!! This is entirely unsatisfactory!!!

I am not sure what I watched today honestly. First Panther game I can ever remember leaving early (and that was at the under 8 timeout). Just horrible.

Many administrators and faculty here are under the impression that ours is a drinking school with a sports problem. Rest assured, they are in the process of resolving that!!!

"The most disappointing thing is we let offense dictate what we did on the defensive end," Pat Baldwin said. "That's the most disappointing thing. What we tried to tell our guys going into halftime is, even though we couldn't score, we couldn't put the ball in the basket, is we still defended them and they only shot 30 percent. That should have been something we took away from the first half and helped us get into the second half."
