Mad charge by the Brewers at the end comes up just short as the Braves are forced to use closer Luke Jackson. Jacob Nottingham belts his first career homer, a two-run opposite field shot in a three-run eighth.

Brewers up 2-1. With the Cubs losing Brewers could be within a half game of first

The Crew loses second straight game to Atlanta, this one 4-3 in 10 innings.
The Crew is having a hard time beating the clubs they need to beat, of late. They’re not getting runs in enough to hold off their rivals. They need to turn that around.

Well, the Cubs may not have lost. They played the game under protest. Something about toe-tapping!

Brewers finish the trip at 5-5 with a 3-2 ten inning win.
The Crew’s runs came on homers from Yelich (#19 for the season, tying Prince Fielder’s club record for home runs before June 1st), Ben Gamel (#2 on the season, and the game winner), and :::::drum roll::::: Keston Hiura.
Hiura’s home run landed in the Milwaukee bull pen, so he had no trouble getting it.

A friendly reminder about the company Huira is already in, copied from the last post of the 2018 Milwaukee Brewers thread dated 11/17/18:
The Arizona Fall League MVP was announced today. It is Brewer prospect 2B Keston Huira. Other AFL MVP's this decade include Nolan Arenado, Kris Bryant, Glyber Torres and Ronald Acuna.
Later in the day, he knocked in the tying run in the bottom of the 9th to help his team, the Peoria Javelinas, win the championship.

51 games into the season (just short of one third of the total), the Crew is at 29-22. That winning percentage over the entire season would yield 92 wins.
The Cubs are 1.5 games ahead of the Brewers only because they've played three less games so far.
The Crew has yet to get really hot this season. I’d like to see them put together a long winning streak sooner rather than later, so they don’t have as much ground to make up at the end of the season. Ideally they’d be leading the division so that the pressure was on the Cubs and Cards to catch them.
