brewers lose in the 15th. whenever a game gets that long its not so much disappointing, as ' thank god someone finally scored'

One quarter of the way through the season.
What stands out most to me is the team defense. Statistically, they lead they NL with just 15 errors. But it is the non-statistical things that really stand out. Great range in CF and at SS. Smart decisions on throws. I cannot recall a Brewer team that is this solid on defense.
I hope I did not just jinx the defense.

You’d figure, in an inning where Jeremy Jeffress strikes out the side, that the Crew would maintain the lead they had going in.
But Jeffress gave up a four-pitch walk with two outs and a two-run homer on the next pitch, and the game is tied.
The Crew isn’t helping themselves: they’ve left 14 runners on base through seven innings: three times they’ve failed to get runs in with the bases loaded.

Time for some bench time for Shaw. He needs a mental-health break!

They heard you, GoD. Shaw was placed on the IL today with a "wrist strain."
They called up Keston Huira. This is the most significant call up since Ryan Braun. For me, anyway.

And Hiura got his first major league hit right away.
Woodruff pitches six innings of shutout ball.

I've got a really good feeling about Keston Hiura!

With the Bucks win and tonight’s Brewers 5-2 win over Philly, it was a pretty good sports night in Milwaukee.
Gio Gonzalez pitched 5 1/3 innings and gave up one run. Jeremy Jeffress, Alex Claudio, Junior Guerra and Josh Hader finished up, with Hader getting save number eleven.
Jesus Aguilar had two RBIs. Ryan Braun and Mike Moustakas had one each.

I really like this lineup when Cain is at the TOP of it! I think Gamel could use a little bit of a break. Wrist sprain?!
