Would be nice to get back to .500 in league play. Hopefully the Panthers continue to play hard on the defensive end as UIC has been playing well as of late.

even with a win, we still have games against oakland and nku to come, both of which are likely losses so. we are looking at at least 8 conferences losses.

Anyone who has watched Horizon League basketball on ESPN3 is, i am sure, thoroughly sick of the HL Tournament promos, especially since they don't seem to be able to sell ad time for much else, but tonight a question occurred to me.
The promos invite the viewer to attend the tournament to see "elite basketball as all ten Horizon League teams compete...." Elite basketball? From a much diminished HL? Doesn't "truth in advertising" apply here?

If you can't defend the 3, you'll die by the 3 almost every time. This team shoots 31.1% for the year, and it's shooting 9 of 15 so far against US. You would think that we would have figured this out by now!
