I do not and never will understand college basketball coaches' timeout philosophy. As soon as it was 25-21 there should have been an immediate timeout to prevent UW from going on a run.

last second shot goes in, panthers wthin 5 at half. all in all, very impressed by our showing. this is a badger team that will be in the Dance come season end, and thus will serve as a good measuring stick come March.

It would be nice if this game would be called both ways. Panthers only had 8 fouls called against them in the half after having committed 5 within the first 10 minutes. What would really be nice would be making free throws. |

What would really be nice would be making free throws. Making free throws as well as not letting up so many offensive rebounds would be nice. The jump ball call when we had a breakaway and the "offensive foul" on Brock were awful. |

Why are Vance and Nze shooting threes? Those two missed shots late in the half are the difference in the game. Conversely, let Reevers (sp?) keep shooting from outside for them until he hits one.

By my count, Vance's +/- is -7 (4-4 initially and 7-0 UW late in the half). Hopefully Nze and Prahl can go the rest of the way. If necessary, how about going with Alex as the third big? Couldn't be any worse.
