Will you pay for the rent for the building? Because it's for charity, I was thinking that maybe MU would. Well, you have the AL. (3,700) There is enough seats for an event on 5 days notice on a Packer Sunday for some folks. |

Was the Klotsche unavailable?
Do any of you believe for a moment that MU would have agreed to play this at the Klotsche? Or even at an Arena with our name on it?
What's hysterical is comparing this to a game between Kansas and Mizzou.
Anyone who doesn't understand how badly we got snookered here in the name of "hurricane relief" has purposefully forgotten at least 20 years of difficult history. Or in the case of the likely decision-maker, never knew it or cared to learn it.
Come on Ms. Braun -- prove that I'm wrong. I'd be happy if you did. Show us how you leveraged this into a contract to resume a home and home (again, even an unbalanced one) with MU for REAL games.
I'm not holding my breath.

Fran, why are you complaining about an extra exhibition game against a quality opponent for a good cause? You're hung up because Marquette is hosting it? Get over it. We're not getting screwed here. It's an exhibition. It seems we've all taken leave of our senses, again.
