This list is based on names put out by various sources.

Chris Lowery was head of the opposition in one of the greatest games in UWM history. Too bad we lost!

All of the worries about no one wanting to coach here were needless stress. What a great list! I suspect that list is very incomplete, too.

I am sorry, but it seems that the hopes of some here for a "splash hire" have been dashed. I am sure these are all fine men, but these are not names that result in a "WOW" from the fans, or the media.

I don't think anybody around here was delusional enough to think we'd get a "splash" hire, whatever that means. Bo Ryan wasn't considered one, and Pearl most definitely wasn't. I think Miller or Jackson would be fantastic hires.

All of the worries about no one wanting to coach here were needless stress. What a great list! I suspect that list is very incomplete, too. This Goodman list is a group of guys that all look like Rob Jeter to me - high-major assistants, praised for their recruiting prowess. The one that has been a head coach, Chris Lowery, got fired from Southern Illinois for basically being Rob Jeter. I'm a Rob Jeter supporter, so obviously I like the list. But 80% or more of the fan base wanted Rob Jeter gone as head coach - even though they would have preferred it had been handled exponentially better. So let me ask this question...doesn't this list from Goodman look a lot like a list of Rob Jeters?

The one that has been a head coach, Chris Lowery, got fired from Southern Illinois for basically being Rob Jeter. Win percentage wise they were similar, but Lowery was handed the keys to a truly elite mid-major(ish) team and ran it off a cliff. Given that this isn't the NBA and there's no draft, I'll take Jeter's results any day

There is something about a D2 coach in Donte Jackson I like. Good track record with Bo Ryan and Bruce Pearl coming from non-division 1 schools.
