Jobs have to be posted for a minimum of 5 days, correct? Is this an indication we have our guy? Anyone know anything about the company leading the search?

Minimum Qualifications Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of ten (10) years of college coaching experience.
That would rule out Showalter:(

Billeter is my top choice even though we don't know if he's a legit candidate or not. Donlon would be a coup too even though he's not a realistic option. Of the list posted, Miller's my #1 and Donte Jackson #2.

I would be ecstatic if he was hired.

I haven't heard much about him besides those pointing to his record like he's Rob Jeter 2.0 (a ridiculous comparison IMO)

Great question, JG: I'll tell you why I like him: 1. He's run programs for 17-18 years. They just won the DII National Championship. They won 31 games the previous season. 2. In additional to running programs, he has also served as an assistant ar St. John's & Texas A&M. 3. His teams like to push the ball in transition and score a lot of points, averaging 90 ppg. Badgerball this is not.

He turned around a program that was going nowhere and made them a contender. He and his staff already have connections in the Midwest although there team didn't have any Chicagoland players for awhile. I prefer previous HC experience instead of an untested top assistant.

Another factor to consider. Does he have a personality and some charisma, ability to sell the program etc. That would be a welcome change
