I agree with you, 'Holic, and truth be told if it wasn't for the fact I can visit my son I wouldn't even be going for the weekend games in Detroit. But I do love traveling to support the guys, and this has been a bad year for me for doing that. I only made the Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Green Bay road games.
This has been one of my favorite Milwaukee teams ever. Just a great group of kids who are representing the University so well, and to say that they have given us exciting basketball is an understatement. These guys are the heart attack kids when it comes to close games and finishes. The record has been disappointing and there are a lot of reasons for that, but we literally haven't been overmatched in any game this year.
So as outraged as I am by the idiotic destruction of the best mid-major tournament setup in the country and the equally incredible decision to go back to the guaranteed "no fans appreciated" format of a neutral site tournament in a bad location, I'm not ready to stop watching our guys. They won't go down easy -- of that I'm sure!
