"Oh, boy. Here we go again. Let us put aside the question of whether you would have beaten us"
I read that much of the post and that was enough for me.
The block feature sure is a great thing.

Thanks for the entitled essay...doesn't matter if its spectating basketball or in the business world get the same pompous attitude from most Marquette grads and this is coming from someone who didn't go to Milwaukee either. I can't give this post enough "thumbs up". Perfectly stated. My experience as well. (Only difference is I did graduate from Milwaukee.)

All I'll say is that it would be a fun game to play annually. It would be a lot better for us than playing Judson.
Marquette has no obligation to play us, but should be prepared to face the music when it's questioned.
That's all.

I'm a UWM fan first and love being a UWM fan, but the hatred towards MU is nauseating. I'm also a MU fan. I can still remember where I was when I was 13 years old watching MU win the national title. BTW, what happened to Bo's UW team dismantling MU as many on this board said would happen?

THIS Thread is about the Milwaukee at Wisconsin game this past Wednesday. If you don't have nothing to add about that game, don't post!

Can we all just move on? Marquette has their own best interests at heart, as we have ours. That is what stops that series from coming back.
That's it. Let's move on.

Jimmy, the trolls have arrived because it chaps them that this would have been the third consecutive year the Panthers would have beaten the Giggles, and their program's cowardice prevents them from arguing otherwise. Everybody in town knows they are dodging us -- and why.

According to published reports, Bo Ryan is retiring effective immediately.
It's 2000 all over again.

Really curious who will take over for him.

The only possible way Barry could screw it up is by not hiring Greg Gard. But Barry has a big ego and time will tell.
As for Bo, we will never see his equal in Wisconsin college hoops. The greatest college coach ever in this state, and that's saying something. Not just for his results, which are simply unmatched and unmatchable, but for how he ran his programs.
Really glad that Rob finally got a win over Bo before it was too late to do it. Even better that he did it with a game in which the team won the Bo Ryan way by grinding and grinding and playing smart, tough basketball.

As a part-time UW fan and a full-time UWM fan I will always love and miss Bo. Without him this program would be nothing, and that period of time in the early 2000s when all 4 state basketball teams were great is the gold standard for everything after. Bo recruited the 2nd-greatest player in program history and set us on the track to success. Good luck to him.
