It's the dreaded midseason malaise before the late-season resurgence.
Then comes the second-round ouster from the Horizon League tournament.
Then comes the CIT or CBI.

Rob Jeter should never be given an opportunity to run a men's basketball program, again.
Dylan, your posts are spot on! He has no idea how to coach (evidenced by watching him dozens of times at the cell) nor motivate.
I go back and forth with regards to showing this team continued support with Jeter at the helm. Part of me is too loyal to turn my back; what Jeter has done to this program is unforgivable.

Is the sky falling on here again? MU, I understand that many of my posts have been negative with regards to Jeter: I just hate what has happened to this program under his tenure. Like everyone else that posts here, I am passionate about MKE hoops but this team is hard to watch most of the time.

Second, unless there is someone out there to payout Jeter's contract, there is nothing we can to, other than to support him. Put the blame on all the AD's for giving him the year's on Jeter's deal.

Just wait it out, guys. Unlike other years, there is an end in sight for those who want Jeter gone. For me, I'll just keep plugging along and supporting Coach. But I'm not going to try and convince any of you to do the same anymore. Let's just enjoy some basketball and go Panthers.

13-8, 3-4 isn't most ideal right now, but if teams don't start beating Green Bay, we're playing for the 2 or 3 seed anyway. The Nutter Center is to Jeter's teams what Texas Stadium was to Brett Favre. It is what it is. Hopefully some home cooking will get us back on track.

I'm split on Green Bay. If they win out, they would be almost a lock for an at-large birth.

On the three-game road trip, it appeared as if the Panthers were instead playing for the seventh seed. There's always an explanation for why Jeter's teams have played so poorly at the Nutter Center. Indeed, there's an explanation given every time the program delivers a lackadaisical, uninspired performance. It just gets old, tired, draining, wearisome, exhausting ...

First thanks for the invite to the Black Rose. But, living on the South Side I opted to go to Steny's. I asked them to put on the game, which of course they did. The game went on at least 4 sets. By halftime only my set still had the game on. Am I upset? Of course! Do I want Jeter gone? of course not! We are 13-8 , not 8-13. Who knows who we would get to replace him. IF the team does not make my original "worst case scenario" of 16-15 I may change my opinion. Now , be sure to dig up my post of YEARS ago, when after a YSU loss (HERE) I wanted him gone. Outside of that one post I have been supportive of Jeter. He has had 2 bad seasons, and should stay here as long as he wants to.

He has had 2 bad seasons, and should stay here as long as he wants to. 2 bad seasons? What are the rest of them? mediocre to "okay" I am not naive enough to think we can make the NCAA tournament every single year but making it one out of every three or hell one out of every four would be nice at this point. Jeter has yet to get to the tournament with his own recruits. The ludicrous contract he has right now was the result of inheriting an insanely good team, making the tournament, and winning a 1st round game against Oklahoma. I will support this team like no other regardless of who the coach is. However, I am not going to automatically be happy about everything going on in the program and be alright with settling for 15-18 win seasons.
