Wright State enters play Tuesday 12-9 overall and 4-2 in the Horizon League ... the Raiders captured a 49-46 victory at Cleveland State Sunday, claiming sole possession of second place in the Horizon League in the process. Milwaukee hasn't won at Wright State since 2005

With a clearly superior frontline, Milwaukee really needs to win this game by a little or by a lot!

For those interested, the Black and Gold Club is having a watch party at the Black Rose (formerly Oakland Trattoria) on campus. We had 30+ for the Davidson game and we hope to break that number tonight. We're giving away Panther swag from the athletic department. No entry fee, just show up to cheer for the Panthers!

Just show up to cheer for the Panthers! That's never been a problem. It's an interesting matchup. Milwaukee has better top-line talent; Wright State has superior depth. Hope to see a lot of you at The Black Rose. |

We are bad right now. Really bad. I know it's tough to win conference games on the road... but it's not hard to score a basket. This is embarrassing.

Are we having fun yet? (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles NES reference...). Wow. That was not at all "entertaining". Let's hope we have some extra gasoline in the tank for the 2nd half or this is gonna be a rout like UW and CSU. Damnit. Basketball Diaries all over again. Someone- please! Whoever you are- STOP supplying our team with H!!! This is hard to watch... I'm only kidding of course. But Wright State should not be beating us up by 18 points at half. 10? I could shrug and hope for a turnaround. 5? I would be pretty confident. But 18?   Pray Jesus we can catch a fire something serious. If we don't... this game will be over by the 15:00 mark in the 2nd round... Dangit! |

Green Bay, Cleveland State and Wright State are clearly on a different level than the Panthers. I don't think Valpo is that much better than us, but I guess we'll find out when they come to Milwaukee. Hopefully these next three home games will get us back on track...
