Just keep winning, and win the HL tourney. The rest takes care of itself. Our schedule in the non-conference has been respectable. Honestly, we need to find a way to get out of the Horizon League at this point. Easier said than done. Not sure how you can describe THE worst rated non-conference schedule in the Horizon League, one that is around 300th in the nation, as "respectable". Do you remember how often we insulted Green Bay for years on this board for non-conf schedules just like this one? Calling it respectable now only makes us look like hypocrites. I mean, as a season ticket holder I would actually be ok with the poor quality of it, provided it meant having a "normal" amount of home games (approximately 15) against D-I competition. You know, like pretty much all of our HL brethren are playing this year. But our schedule has nothing even close to that. We have just 11 regular season home games vs D-1. And I understand that 3 of those 11 had to be at the K.C. due to scheduling conflicts that won't (supposedly) happen after this season, so I'm giving them a pass for having only 8 of those home games at the Cell. But the fact that there are only 11 D-1 home games total, however, is inexcusable for a program that considers itself a mid-major, and not a low-major. Like I said, every other HL team this season has many more. Then, on top of the poor quality of opponents and low quantity of home games, there is also the poor timing of the games: the Bradley game was our first weekend home game this year. Our first weekend home game at the Cell doesn't even occur until January. Simply terrible any way you wanna slice it. Thankfully, winning will still trump even this.

All we need to worry about is to keep winning, and keep improving. The other issues will take care of themselves.

My 15-16 prediction was a worst case scenario. I have no best case scenario in mind. I'd rather be pleasantly surprised than disappointed

Do you have a best case, worst case scenario? (I got the idea from Dienhart's BTN Blog.)I don't have a best case, just a worse case scenario.

Does anyone know why the start time for the Valpo game on 2/15 is still TBA? I need to RSVP for a party that night, so it'd be nice to know of it's an afternoon or night game...
Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

It's the wild card game for the Horizon League Game of the Week Network. (GB-CSU, Valpo-UWM, UIC-YSU. The HLN Game would be at 3pm. I'm hoping and guessing the Panther game will not be picked, so it would be at 7pm. Plus, UWM women play at home at 2pm vs Green Bay.

Good observation with the women's game... looks like I'll be a no-show for the party that night. That's going to make the wife real happy.
