What will the Jeter apologists have to say after this debacle? I guess one might be this doesn't appear to be the DePaul team they have played in the past. 1. Wins and losses don't matter. 2. We weren't getting an at large anyway. 3. You can't be competitive with these facilities. 4. The players are letting coach down

I just don't know what to say about this team anymore?
What happened to the heart? the intensity? the passion and care for winning?

yuk!...I think we stink!......I also think Robby boy needs to fire all the assistants because that is where the problem is. Fire some more assistants because we have only had ONE 20 division 1 win seasons in oh I don't know......7 YEARS!.....and that's in 30+ games!.....Time to take responsibility coach! ... BOOOOOOOO!

We can find easily 20+ players playing pick-up games in the gyms at any time who play with more passion...

I'm sorry Tyrunner, but you're wrong. Rob Jeter would take that passion away from them within a game or two. Either that, or he wouldn't play them at all. Seriously, I can't believe you're still directing your ire at the wrong targets/target.

This athletic department is in a death spiral right now. Clearly out of money judging by the move to the Klotsche Center, they obviously cannot afford to get rid of Jeter until his contract is up. The problem is their only revenue producing team isn't producing revenue and more fans are losing interest by the game. I just hope they can hold on long enough until they can change course in a couple years and attempt to recover. Unfortunately, there may not be many fans left by that time.

Having been at the Wisconsin Marquette game on Saturday, I was thinking that neither team impressed me much. Attending the game Sunday leads me to believe that Wisconsin could win by 40. But I'll be there supporting the Black and Gold!
Depaul plays the style I like. They caused turnover after turnover. Fast and athletic. Reminded me of when Bru....

For the record, this tied for the eighth-worst loss of the post-1990 era.
As we were getting our belongings together and heading for the exits, it was tied for the second-worst loss in our modern history (80-39).
