Its time to move on or just accept the program for what it is. There will be no changes in the next three years.

Hope everyone enjoyed themselves watching last night's game. That's the most important thing.

Hope everyone enjoyed themselves watching last night's game. That's the most important thing. Correct. Wins and losses don't matter. In fact, effort doesn't necessarily matter. The only two things that matter are a Milwaukee uniform and a clean program. I've always wondered why they even bother keeping score because wins and losses are irrelevant.

In the Round of 32 game against Boston College., there were 37 instances of Panther bodies hitting the floor.
Last night, Demetrius took a knee to the nether region and fell on his tailbone. This was noteworthy because it was the only time that a Panther went anywhere near the floor.
I don't know if this is more a function of style or belief in the program (probably a balanced combination of both), but it's a pretty sad commentary on this team's abject lack of passion.
In Rob's own words, the program's in a "bad place right now."

I SURE HOPE THE SELECTION COMMITTEE DIDN'T SEE THIS! Where are all those "fire Rob Jeter" whackos now?

Whether if it was going out of bounds or loose at half court. We actually should've beaten a decent SCU team at home as well this year. WE were kicking there a%% all game, until the typical UWM debacle. The sad part of this season to me is that we keep using "the Davidson game" like it was a real major victory this year. They're a mid major just like us, well at least we should be playing like one. I just don't understand how we could be look for a AD when we need to be paying a little more attention to the bread winner of this university's ad department. Wow!

There was an opportunity for Kelm to get on the floor last night and a guy from behind him dove past him while he tried to bend over and pick it up...

From today's article in the JS about Jamil Wilson returning home to play for Marquette:
"Buzz said it the best, it's how you lose as a team," Wilson said. "It's OK to lose, but it's how you lose. If you go out and let a team whip you and you have no response at all, it doesn't mean anything. But if you go out and compete and lose like we did to Butler on a last shot, lose like that and you accept it because you went out and played hard. You didn't let another team manhandle you."
Interpret and apply to the Panthers as you wish.

Coaches lose teams. Sometimes their players just stop listening and the results are never good. From the play on the floor to the off-the-court trouble to the recent transfers, it's pretty clear that this team simply doesn't care. I'm sure there are some exceptions, but as a whole, it's evident this team's interests and aspirations lie elsewhere.
I have nothing but respect for Buzz Williams, silly "rivalries" aside. His players would run through a brick wall for him. Yeah, MU has it's share of off-the-court issues, but they never play like they don't mean it. You know you're going to get an effort every game. Wish we could say the same.

I just can't believe how different things are than when I was in school (2003 - 2007). We were on top of the world in my two favorite sports (soccer and basketball).
Times have changed.

From the JS article:
Demetrius Harris, who had his shots at trying to slow down McCrea, was even more blunt.
"We didn't buy into the scouting report," he said. "I don't think we paid attention, and he just outworked us. His effort, he just outworked all of us - everybody that was holding him."
Not paying attention to the coach(es) and getting outworked.
So troubling.

I blame the refs. Always have it in for Milwaukee.
