The starting PG gets 1 assist??? 1 assist? What game can you win when that happens? If we can't play better team ball than what we did tonight (defense too), how many HL wins can we expect to get this season?

Wow..... Honestly, if Jeter is still coaching on 1/1/2013 it will show that this program's brass has no clue at all. Also, they really don't care about their fan base at all.. (What little of them care anymore) Well, I still do care, and this is straight up embarassing. There was no effort out there at all tonight... Honestly, this team looks like they are going through the motions, and have already quit.. Place was half empty, and for good reason. The product out there is really bad. I was at the Davidson game, and they looked solid that night. Since then, it has been a joke. Please, cut the coach lose. It is time, and the next person who says I am negative I say this. Open your eyes, this program is a total mess right now. Stop making excuses, and wake up that Jeter is an overpaid clown. Say what you want about me, but I want effort from this team. And how about an NCAA tourney bid every now and then. Especially since the Horizon has become a pretty average at best conference now... It's time to get real and admit this dude is wayyyyy overpaid. Cut his butt lose now! Save this season!

The deal with these guys is they are simply not good. The X’s and O’s don’t win games but the Jim’s and Joe’s do. And unfortunately our Jim’s and Joe’s are not very talented. The team is comprised of a shoot first point guard (Jordan Aaron) who’s turnover prone and he’s surrounded by a bunch role players (rest of the roster) who’s talent would be best described as average to poor. Furthermore, the roster is riddled with one dimensional offensive players who posses limited abilities. As a result we’ve got a basketball team which is 1-6 verse NCAA Division 1 competition thus far in the season. The team still has to play at Wisconsin, at DePaul, and at Fairfield before the conference portion of the schedule starts. Nevermind the X's and O's. Not to say you are wrong. Can this team play with energy? passion? toughness? sprit? fight?

Good players are not always talented. Poorly-coached teams are rarely good.

Rob's brutally honest post-game comments are dead on. Now, can he do something about it and turn this thing around? This team is a train wreck right now. There's a long way to go in this season but tonight was some of the worst basketball I've ever seem from our team. Both ends of the court. There's a lot of people who should be sitting on the bench right now. That's exactly what I'd be doing with Jordan and a few others. Yikes!!!!

A rotation which rotation includes Austin Arians, Ryan Haggerty, Christian Wolf, Evan Richard, and Paris Gulley resembles more of a division 2 team than a division 1 team. And I won’t argue you with poor coaching on this staff. But I really believe the talent level, or lack there of, is a major reason for this dismal start.

Very disappointing loss. One of the saddest aspects of the game was looking around at the under-8 timeout and watching half the crowd leave, and only about 30 students remained. Javon McCrea could have had at least 50 if he had played more than 27 minutes.

I wouldn't care as much if the team played with urgency, but they look like they've mailed in the season already. I'm a die-hard fan but tonight, I'm glad that I live far enough from Milwaukee so I don't attend games like these.

blackandgold, you lose a lot of credibility when you say Paris Gulley is reminiscent of a D-II player. He's five days removed from scoring 24 against a Northern Iowa team that actually might beat a top-15 Creighton and win the MVC.

He's five days removed from scoring 24 against a Northern Iowa team that actually might beat a top-15 Creighton and win the MVC. I knew I was going to take criticism for that comment, but I stand by it. On the offensive end Paris Gulley is an undersized, one dimensional shooting guard. His only strength offensively is shooting three pointers or long jumpers. Gulley is weak offensively, he's unable to create effectively off the dribble, and he has tremendous difficulty finishing around the rim. Fact: Paris Gulley had no NCAA Division 1 offers out of high, so as a result Gulley attended junior college for two years. Perhaps all of the NCAA Division 1 coaches during the time Paris Gulley was in high school have lost credibility in your eyes as well. If you honestly think Paris Gulley is a legitimate starting shooting guard on a horizon league championship caliber team then I have some swamp land to sell you.

I'm just mesmerized that people think the talent level on this team is up to snuff. It's a joke along with this tired coaching staff.

I see the new up-tempo offense is in full swing (no pun intended) after hanging 52 on mighty Buffalo.

Performances like this on your home floor get coaches fired. Fortunately for Rob, he doesn't have a real boss right now.
