The arena, like everything in America, will likely be paid for with a loan that donations and student fees will conceivably pay for in the future. So there's no real time table, just a heaping pile of debt.

The Athlon book picked Milwaukee for fifth place in the conference, between Cleveland State and Youngstown. Valparaiso, projected as a No. 14 seed, was picked to win the league and fall in its NCAA Tournament second-round game to Michigan State.

I love pre-season predictions, but they are pretty laughable as so much can happen between now and March 2013.
If JJ Panoske, Jordan Aaron and a healthy Evan Richard turn out to be as good as I think they will this season (and the transition to an "up-tempo" style actually happens and is successful)... I think 5th place is a bit underrated for us in a league that is now without a school named Butler. (we all know that Haarsma, Gulley and Kelm are going to make more big waves & get theirs).
We. Shall. See. I like our chances. NIT/NCAA's or bust. Horizon League 1st or 2nd place.
Yes... I am back- with my Positive Posse.

Preseason all-conference teams and rankings will be released in about an hour.
I expect Detroit, Green Bay and Valparaiso to have their day in the sun today.

Maybe its my fan hood or panther glasses I am looking through but I think we will finish higher then that. I have no problem going under the radar this season though ;D

Sign of the Apocalypse?
According to a source, our J-S "beat" reporter for the coming season will be none other than Michael Hunt, who will double as the Marquette beat writer.
The Klotsche Center just got a whole lot more cramped.
