Very entertaining game. Good crowd, good win, a lot of fun. You knew Fairfield wasn't going away quietly. They have some very talented players. Good job pulling it out with a depleted team.
I'd like to personally thank Sydney Johnson for the added entertainment. How does he not get ejected?

How does he not get ejected? I'm thinking he got a longer leash because he was in the right ... player fouled out, so they should get their minute. Refs (and UWM bench) didn't know he fouled out and were rushing them from the huddle. |

Now add 400 student fans and that SHOULD have been a raucus Cell crowd. Nice to see the Kids Days have been a pretty good success...We may be starting to gain a bit more of a general public following, but now, we need to focus on how to get bigger and BETTER student crowds... It can be done, and I want to get it done where we dont go through the embarassing spectacle today of being quieted by the Fairfield fans... Time to start meeting with Costello and suggest ideas to build an organized student fan crowd.... |

A good win today, despite being short-handed, etc. Anyone know why Wolf, Haarsma and Haggerty were not in uniform...or even on the bench (at least I didn't see them)?

FYI, that game -- against Fairfield in a "meaningless" non-conference game -- drew more than Rick Costello's proposed arena would hold. |
