We're playing to win. The rotation will not change unless the score gets out of whack one way or the other.

Twenty wins is a far more meaningless milestone than it used to be. Everyone talks about 20 wins like it's a big deal, and then forget that teams don't play 28 games anymore, they play 31 or 32 at least.

Games against Concordia-St. Paul, UW-Parkside, and Nebraska-Omaha shouldn't count. So then Bruce Pearl won 80 games, not 86, because in his four years they played Concordia-St. Paul twice, Parkside three times, and Nebraska-Omaha once. It's funny how so many fans have a selective memory when it comes to the Pearl years.

I'm sorry ... I missed the part where I referenced Pearl.

It's funny how the old guard gets nailed as "Pearl Dead-Enders" all the time, yet the "Jeter Apologists" bring up Bruce in every argument to try and prove a point in Rob's favor.

I think 20 wins is still looked at as a solid season. 20 wins isn't the magic number anymore to get that school in the ncaa toury.

20 wins is nice, but it means nothing to the casual fan unless there's a postseason tournament involved.
That is, unfortunately, why this game is basically worthless.

I didn't realize this is Senior Day; I'm now sad I can't make it.
What a waste.

Panthers are 1-8 in the BracketBuster event. The Panthers come in as a 2 1/2 point favorite.

I didn't realize this is Senior Day; The season goes so fast in the Horizon League, since the regular season ends one week early than most leagues.

Actually, Bruce only gets mentioned when those "Dead-Enders" make their annual visit. Address why you mention Bruce in the post above, please. Many teams in our conference have scheduled DII teams (including our own) in the past decade (yes, including *gasp* Bruce's teams) ... leading to "inflated" records and more teams reaching the 20-win plateau, which once carried more prestige in all of NCAA basketball. With more teams scheduling DII teams and playing more games, it's not the mark for a great season anymore ... more like a good season. So, enlighten me ... what was your intent with your retort? I'll hang up and listen.

Why pick this game as Senior Day? So what if it is the last regular season home game, should have gone with the last HL home game for Senior Day.
