Sorry, but Milwaukee has no chance in this game without getting something from Tony Meier. I brought this up in an earlier game thread, and made mention aside from a handful of games Tony has yet to show anything that resembles his performance from last year. This year as a preseason all conference player he has been vastly vastly different. While i understand he had his injury early in the year and that might have slowed his progress at the start we are far enough into the season for him that he should be doing the same damage he did last year and that is simply not the case, he has disappeared in multiple games this year to the point of it even being a surprised when he does hit a shot to me. Not sure what caused his addition to be on the milk carton but someone needs to get his head out of where ever it has been and tell him to be the player he was last year, get back on track or this year is going to quickly be coming to a close without any sort of postseason of any kind. TONY WE NEED THE PLAYER FROM LAST YEAR BADLY!!!!

Of the last 12 games played in Milwaukee between these two teams, the Panthers have won eight ... and three of the four losses were winnable contests against Butler teams ranked in the top 18. In the first, a 55-50 loss, the Panthers made only 8 of 20 free throws. In the second, the game played during the Great Blizzard of 2008, UWM jumped off to a 12-0 lead before falling 83-75 in overtime. In the third, the host school was within two of the national runners-up in the closing minutes of an eventual 73-66 defeat. In short, this has been a very tough place for the Bulldogs to play, and the crowd has been a big part of that.

Not a fan of the uniforms. I say if they want to honor vets, save the cost of ordering one-off unis and give them free or half-priced tickets to the games (every game).
The Panthers do look nice in varsity block numbers/lettering though. Maybe we should do a black and gold version of these for next year.

I believe the unis were donated by adidas (and Nike for Butler). If not, they'll be part of our shoe deal and therefore just taken back as credit.

I assume these are being auctioned off at the game since its a bennefit for the UWM ROTC? I'm not generally a fan of gimmick jerseys, but these are pretty cool.
Anyone know how to bid on these? Will they be online?
