Counting Northern Illinois we are now 3-0 against teams from Illinois.
Lets make it 4-0 with this one!

A win over a "major" program would be huge.

UWM is currently third in the Horizon League in turnovers and A:T ratio, averaging 8.5 and 1.4 respectively. We're also third in offensive efficiency (104.8) and second in floor percentage (56.7%), suggesting our offense is far better than our shooting percentage suggests.
Our opponents are shooting 37.6% against us, second lowest rate in the league. We are 33rd in the country in that category. We're 27th in the country in defensive efficiency. We're the sixth-best mid-major team in that category.

A win over a "major" program would be huge. From an average fan perspective yes. But honestly I barely consider Depaul a High major. Milwaukee should win this game regardless of who is a high major and who is a mid major...

Depaul isn't bad this year, trust me. Their two losses have come by a combined 3 points, to 8-1 Minnesota (with a healthy Mbakwe) and 6-1 Mississippi, both of which they led late.

I will admit they have been better this year than I expected even with the players they lost before the season. I just think our D should be able to contain them and we should be able to get outta their with a W.

I do not exclude the possibility that Depaul farts all over the Big East and wins two conference games, now. Just to clarify.

Frankly, I think that for a variety of reasons the Blue Demons will be favored in this game ... and they should be.
That's not to say that the Panthers can't win.

Honestly, if UWM is an NCAA caliber team, they kind of need this win.

If we win the HLT we are an NCAA caliber team. What we do tomorrow will not really affect that. DePaul will be an extremely tough matchup for our guys. Thy have some talent and a good coach. Purnell is getting some traction.
Not impossible for us, but very tough.
