They NEED to take Kaylon out...he has done nothing but turnovers and missed shots...

What's the risk of playing Christian Wolf? Gustavson? Roelke? I mean yikes. What difference would it make?

You can def. tell that there is a shorter leash with the new guys (Evan and Demetrius for example) as compared with guys who've played a lot more (Ja'Rob and Kaylon).

I don't know what Jeter said to the team at halftime, but he should have said the opposite. I missed the SMSU game, but every other game as I can remember, the start of the second half has been the worst point in the game. Whatever RJ's approach is, needs to stop. No fire or urgency. We've been able to win in spite of it, but this game won't be the same, nor will the majority of HL contests. Coming out of the 2nd half is huge, and we have an F in that department thus far.

12 points in 15+ minutes this half. Its one thing to just miss a lot of open shots - that happens. Tonight, this team simply stopped executing an offense in the second half.

Getting jobbed now. Haarsma got pulled down on that play, no call, tiny contact, MSU shoots FTs.

At some point in time, this team needs to win a big non-conference game if they want to be taken seriously. Its not happening tonight.

Yes, we have taken some ill-advised shots, but MSU is playing some decent defense as well.

Way to many missed three pointers for the Panthers (5-20) 19-4 scoring edge for MSU on the line.

our defense has been positively sensational tonight, though. Two things are hurting us: Our lack of weight in the post and the youngness of our bench. Of the five people who have come off the bench in this game, four are in their first year in the program. That's something that will be alleviated with experience, luckily.

In other HL news, Butler was down 50-35 at the Half, but currently leads Gardner Webb 65-63 with a minute left.
