If the Panthers played at 7pm, I don't really think more fans would've came. We have had many no-shows for all three games this season.

Did we seriously draw 2,500 for the game today? That is pretty good for a Packer Sunday... Paid attendance. The good news is that does mean we had several hundred walk-ups.

It was nice to see a (Milwaukee) team stomp a team they should stomp. This is my initial reaction. Isn't it great to experience what Marquette and Wisconsin get to experience annually against good low-majors? Playing at your place, knock them out early and get the deep bench involved after the game has long since been decided. Bravo! I think this was what people were looking for in the SW Minn. State game. As I said, I don't know if TSU will be good or bad this season. It's nice to beat a NIT from last year by around the same score as MSU did.

The good news is that does mean we had several hundred walk-ups. Maybe. The Cell gets group packs that it sells tickets though. Per Kevin O'Connor

Was there anyone from the J-S at the game today? There isn't a story up on jsonline yet -- four hours after it ended.
In the past, this would indicate that the game had been covered by Bobbi Roquemore.
By the way, I agree with all that Fran writes above. Comparative scores are a mostly fruitless exercise. Fortunately, this is college basketball and there's an actual tournament at the end of the season.
Here's my gameplan for Wednesday: compete hard, represent the school and the program well and let the chips fall where they may.

Well, he's pulling double duty then.
Covering us in the afternoon and covering MU off the TV on Sunday night.
He's got a couple of 30-plus-point wins to write about.

TSU plays it's next 8 games on the road before league play. So it will be a tough start for this "bunny."

Here's a strange statistic: UTS shot better (35%) than IUPUI did (30%). And while 35% is wretched, I would never believe that a team that shot 35% for a game would only score 13 in the entire first half.

Something to think about as far as why Paris Gulley hasn't wowed thus far on offense - he spent three weeks learning how to play point guard to save us from losing the SMSU game, so he's got a learning curve as he gets back to being a 2.
His shot is going to fall. You can see his confidence in it.

Shaq Boga and Harris also making the highlight of the year so far. So great hearing the radio call...

For the headline, how about this: "Milwaukee starting to clique?"

Terrible defensive performance from Ja'Rob, with his awful on-ball pressure and two abysmal steals. This makes me laugh hysterically... I expected nothing less from you Super King.

I don't know if this game will help or hurt at the end of the year, but it was good to see what this team is capable of. Regarding attendance, fwiw the three games played might just have been the three least desirable games (at the Cell) this year. What's left downtown this year is HL games, Wisc.-Madison , and the Bracketbuster.
