Young defended himself mostly, but Allen took him out of the game otherwise.

Very good improvement in performance tonight. This team will win with defense but they have some offensive ability.
Excellent contributions off the bench by Evan Richard and Ryan Haggerty particularly. Very solid play from James, a really nice step-up game from Kyle Kelm, another stat-stuffing game (good and bad, but mostly good in the second half) by Kaylon and a truly outstanding game on both ends by Ryan Allen, who was easily (IMO) the player of the game. He shut Young down and was extremely efficient on offense.
Saw a lot of good things out there tonight.

another ryan allen question (i had a feeling he was involved with the answer to my first question)...did he knock down any jumpers? when i started paying close attention to the gametracker, it looked like mostly layups

Ryan Allen's game has improved this season. I like how he can take it to the hole. Very solid game for the Panthers tonight!

Thoughts on tonight: Kind of surprised Shaq didn't get any minutes until the game was in hand. Is his injury still nagging or maybe re-aggravated? Offense worked well, but there were still stretches where there didn't seem to be any set in place. Defense was great. Evan is awesome. New banners looked great. 'UWM' on the scoreboard? Come on guys.

Loved the new banners plus great efforts by Richard, Allen, and Kelm...I definitely feel alot better after this game then I did after the Northern Illinois game...
Also a great night in shutting down Alex Young: played only 15 minutes, 2-5, 3 rebounds, 5 points plus a Technical and fouling out.
All in all, a very nice night for the Panthers
3-0!!
WAR PANTHERS!!!

Come on guys. Great Post! Evan is awesome! He is exciting to watch and appears to be taking a big role on the team this year. I was against red-shirting him last year, but I can't even imagine what a beast he will be in 3 years. It would be nice to have Tony for Mich St. but whats important is that he tries to make it back by December for the start of conference. Not having the extra size didn't hurt us tonight, but there will be nights where it will.

Great win for the Panthers tonight! Here are a few observations on the game: 1) Kyle Kelm played a great game and had at least 2 really nice post moves(up and unders) that got him easy buckets. 2) Love Evan Richard's game, hes sneaky fast and in the post can put up baby hooks to get him solid looks at the basket, as well as shoot outside of course. 3) Haarsma with another good game, especially battling on the boards and even stepping out to shoot the 3 4) Lastly, I am a little confused why Demetrius Harris didn't get more minutes...Hags had a solid defensive game but I would like to see what Harris can offer.
Go Panthers! 3-0!

The new banners look sharp! Bigger, the gold color. I love the new floor that went in a few years ago. I wish they would put up all members of the Horizon League schools banners, as they did years ago.

Ryan Allen was the game's MVP and it wasn't even a contest.
He plays under such great control that I barely recognize him from a year ago.
If Alex Young is an NBA player, Ryan gave him a taste of what he'll face at the next level.

The banners were comparatively outstanding. Bright, big and bold.
By the way, there's plenty of room to the right of the NIT banner for retired numbers.
Here's a few suggestions: No. 30, No. 44 and No. 13.
