I like the fact they have been consistently recruiting good players that are 4 years guys...if that streak continues I see no reason to not play guys if they are ready to do so.

I agree with your point, and the comment made by Dylan. But if J.J. was going to get very limited minutes this year...wouldn't it make sense to redshirt? Or do you think you make minutes available for him, so he can learn and develop during the season, so by tourney time he's a legit contributor. Just some thoughts, but I would like to see J.J. on the floor this year.

I think you have to assume that JJ is going to play sparsely if you want to redshirt him. If he's going to play ten minutes per game? Or more? You play him.
He's not Christian Wolf or Quinton Gustavson. This is a guy who was ranked #2 in the state in a pretty good recruiting class who was recruited by good mid-majors. If he's ready, he's playing. You redshirt if you're not ready. That's what it's for. It's not like we have a logjam in the 4 and 5 spots - James, Big Mete, Haggs, Wolf, Kelm, and Meier for three forward spots - Panoske is at least ahead of Haggs and Wolf and in my mind could be playing 15-20 this season depending on how far along he and the other players are.

That section this season went down in price. I'm gussing it cost you less than that, since it's your first season and you get more money off.

Lets get the season underway boys!
I think today will put the J.J. redshirt discussion to bed. I trust in our coaching staff to make the most beneficial decision. They are far more familiar with the players abilities than any of us. If J.J. plays, I'll be his biggest fan this year. From the small amount of action I've seen, he seems like he'll be fun to watch.
WAR PANTHERS!!!!!

I love this program above all. After all, it's my school.
Just a reminder to the guys that winning starts with the opening tip against an overmatched Division 2 opponent and doesn't end until the final buzzer of the season's last game.
Let's do everything within our power to ensure that the final game happens in late March or early April.

4 boards for Haarsma already.
Haarsma is definitely well shy of 6'7, but I'd be very curious as to how long his wingspan is. He's got some extremely long arms.

I think it's safe to say that we miss Tony Meier and Kaylon Williams tremendously. Let's see what ERich can do...
