I would be substantially more thrilled if he could give us 5 and 10. Any scoring from James is a bonus. What I really want out of him is tough work on the inside, especially defensively. Agreed. Of course, he'll have to work that much harder at his height.

I would not be surprised if Kaylon did not play on Saturday. I wouldn't either. There will be more important games.

Can't even bring myself to care about Saturday's game, will be watching football instead of using season tix. SW Minnesota St, I know home games are hard to schedule but, this is not worth my time.

Yet another vote for Panther football. If this is an indictment on our scheduling, don't forget that Bruce Pearl played non-D-I teams as well.

As someone that watches college football 12+ hours on Saturday's, I'll be taking a 2 1/2 hour timeout for Panther basketball.

I would not be surprised if Kaylon did not play on Saturday. Is this because of his knee or his DUI?

He didn't go up against the likes of Alec Brown, Andrew Smith, Kevin Van Wijk, Ben Averkamp and possibly Eli Holman every game, either.

I just look forward getting back into the Cell. This. I won't be at this game, but I'm going to try to get down to MKE for as many games as possible this year.

Much ground to cover.
Contrary to what D'Amato writes, I don't expect either Christian or "Q" to get many -- any? -- minutes at all and so, logically, don't consider them a part of the rotation.
As such and with some height-challenged players along the frontline, my modest proposal based upon observations is to not redshirt the very promising J.J. Panoske.
I realize this would be biting the bullet a bit, knowing what J.J. could be in four years, but it seems to me that this team absolutely requires his considerable interior defensive presence.
I'm not talking about starting him or even playing him 15-20 minutes a game, but based upon what I've seen I believe that he could be a game-changer in short bursts, a la Nate Mielke.
His ceiling, in my opinion, is way up there in the clouds. Let's get the best guys on the floor this season.
