Also noticed that he had Eli Holman as one of the top 5 Horizon players. Did DU reinstate him?

I was reading the newspaper over my lunch, to find this Panther preview is almost a full front page picture of Tony Meier. Very nice to see!!

Will this team run out of gas in February, like last season?

Will this team run out of gas in February, like last season? You call going 6-1 in February last year "running out of gas"?

I believe he thought you were referring to Milwaukee.

Milwaukee is playing well, just excited to get Meier back and then really start rolling. There is enough talent on this team to make this year memorable in my view.

This is from Andy Katz's blog after the Cincinnati-Wright State game:
• Wright State coach Billy Donlon said there isn't a team in the Horizon League that improves more from the opening game to the last league contest than Rob Jeter's Milwaukee squad. The Panthers nearly tripped up Wisconsin on Tuesday.

If we're 8-3 (only losses to MSU, UNI and UW), and our best basketball is going to be played at the end of the season...god help the Horizon League.
