I've said this to anyone who's ever asked about him: Rob is a man of great character.

Repoman, when do I get my beer? As I said earlier folks, start worrying when our coach is NOT being courted. It's the nature of the beast at every mid-major with, at best, three exceptions I can think of. And as to one of those, I'll re-bet that beer (well, a different one) that the day will come when Brad Stevens leaves Indy for Bloomington. It's a great reminder that we should appreciate what we have. I certainly do.

VERY GOOD NEWS!!!!! We did not need this as we are now back at the point of having a solid competitive Mens basketball program with a sustainable recruiting pattern, solid ethical coaching staff and an upward trend with potential for greater things to come... did not want to start over as we are on the right track now...lets start thinking about upcoming signings, scheduling and putting more fannies in the seats next year!!! Have a regular season HL championship and NIT bid to build on...things are good...

Rob is pretty well paid now, as we all know (hell, I'd love to make what he makes), but I hope that one thing that comes out of this is some kind of additional consideration for the other guys on the staff. They are all great people who have helped re-build this program.

I apologize for my previous comment, I do see the need to hold onto him. I can't say that I would stay with my current employer if the chance to make significantly more money popped up.

Honestly he's most likely seeing that he can win more now with Milwaukee, possibly even getting into the Big Dance in the next couple of years and getting a bigger offer from a high major team.

Great news. Whatever his reasoning, I'm glad we have coaching, and therefore, recruiting stability. I suspect we'll have some special seasons in the near future.

Good to hear, I like him as a coach and even more as a recruiter.
