I felt worse about this after the 2006 season. If he goes so be it. He does things the "right" way, but I believe he is a replaceable coach. The program will move on successfully.

You figure Kaylon, Meier, and Haarsma stay. Wouldn't be surprised to see Kelm transfer and then Shaq not come here.

Hack, I'm sure there would be some fools (and I mean that strongly) who would pump dollars in. Maybe that would make up for those of us who would permanently seal the checkbooks. Maybe not.
Bruce has a lot of personal redemption to accomplish before he is ever again given the chance to run (or ruin) another college program. And even when that happens (if it happens) I don't want him anywhere near here. There are high character guys available who can win, even in Milwaukee. Rob has proved that.

As far as Bruce Pearl is concerned, I think a lot of you are forgetting one simple fact.
He didn't want us. He left.

And we have a winner. That took a little longer than I thought. maverick is smoking a bowl with Kareem right now and wasn't available. He's cutting the deal with Kareem to be our new Head Coach. Kareem has wanted to be a head coach for awhile after all, and he might find Milwaukee to be more urban and to his liking as a majority-minority city now.

Doesn't matter. Loyalty was not in the cards. I think the biggest thing that people forget is that his "$$$$$" was signed, sealed, and delivered before the Panthers took the court against Illinois. Had he waited, it might have been different, but that's how it went. In any case, I don't want to talk replacements. I want to talk about Coach Jeter, and what we need to do to make sure he's still in Black and Gold next fall.

If RJ leaves, he leaves. Like I said in an earlier post....the last two games of this season really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I like Rob......but if he leaves, the program goes on. Jimmy's right......this situation is Rick Costello's time to shine. Give me my season ticket reorder form and Panther Fund app...I'm all in for next year.
