I just came on here to offer it to you! First game next season either at the Cell or Goolsbys. I am a man of my word. You could offer him one at the Panther Baseball tailgate party at Miller Park on April 29th. Eehh, we are expecting our 2nd kid a week or so before that. Probably couldn't pull that one off.

Bradley's D-Board seems to think that Jeter is holding out to see if the MU spot becomes available. One person came to the conclusion that we weren't paying him, and of course there was a 'UW-M' siting. Bright bunch in Peoria. must be the asian carp down there ;D

No idea what would give them the idea that Jeter is holding out for Marquette. Why on earth would Buzz Williams leave Marquette? There are no Indianas opening up.

Not surprised, but at the same time, SO SO HAPPY!!
I had a feeling that Robbie was going to turn them down. He had gone too far, worked too hard building this program back up THE HONEST WAY to leave it...If there had been a vast margin of seniors leaving after this year, I would be thinking everything would be different, but Robbie has now made me like him more and more.
An incredible man of character and honesty, he may have taken longer than usual to bring this program back up, but dammit, he has!
ROB-BIE JE-TER!

How does it keep momentum in scheduling?

How does it keep momentum in scheduling? We have relationships with coaches, and over time try and figure out deals that work best for us. This isn't MU. We don't go to RealTimeRPI, pick four of the bottom 50, offer a guarantee and call it a day. Sorry, had to In all seriousness, scheduling is far more difficult at a mid-major than a low-major.

By the way, earlier this month I was having a discussion with a friend of mine -- an MU fan who has pictures of Diener and D-Wade dotting his rec room wall -- about the prospects for several teams when I said I think that Colorado is one of the "first four out."
He quickly corrected me, saying, "You mean the last four out. The first four out comprise MU's non-conference home schedule."

The very first four teams eliminated from tournament contention generally play Marquette early in the year
Glad I could be of some assistance

I apologize for my previous comment, I do see the need to hold onto him. I can't say that I would stay with my current employer if the chance to make significantly more money popped up. Honestly he's most likely seeing that he can win more now with Milwaukee, possibly even getting into the Big Dance in the next couple of years and getting a bigger offer from a high major team. What can Rob show us financially that it isn't all about the money... He dismissed the Iowa St. offer his first year. He would of taken a higher $$ paid position possibly at Bradley (his home state). But he still stayed at Milwaukee. As I was taught at an early age, actions speak louder then words. His actions have spoken plain and clearly. This board speculates, but some times we have to draw the line when it comes to reality.
