As long as the NCAA enforces it's rules (not a great track record here) it should be fine. Meaning Georgia shouldn't be allowed to bring Uga to any games except the final 4.

Princeton is currently down 3 to (4) Kentucky. Asheville is currently down just 9 to (1) Pitt.

What a roller coaster ride for Michigan St. fans this year. They were ranked 2 in the nation, then go through a streaky season in which their hero from last years NCAA tourny gets sent to basketball purgatory, get what might be considered a gift NCAA bid and then subsequently get throttled by UCLA.
Oh well their fans are spoiled anyways.

To Jay Bias:
It seems that VCU has a pretty good understanding of the game to me.

I like Bilas but he's really pissing me off this year. Not just with that crap about how VCU didn't deserve to pee in the tournament bathroom, but crap like this: twitter.com/#!/JayBilas/status/48948602420203521 Because as we all know, all mid-major teams are inherently worse than Big Six teams and therefore it is impossible for Big Six teams to upset them, even though they are seeded lower and they have worse resumes and fewer wins.

My feeling is that if you are handing indictments to UAB and VCU based upon their resumes, you had better be equally prepared to defend the selections of Clemson and USC.
So far, VCU has certainly been the best of that rather undeserving lot.

If someone thinks a team should not be in the field, they should not be in the field. They didn't earn it. It doesn't matter if they win or lose in the big dance.
I do tip my cap to VCU!

There were a lot of teams from BCS conferences in the tournament that didn't "earn" a bid.
I just find it interesting that J. Bias chose only to go after VCU and UAB.
At the end of the day, wouldn't you rather see what a team like Cleveland State or VCU can do?
