After that sh*t display Friday night, the Badgers can't gripe about anything. I'm surprised they didn't get a 5. Apart from UAB/VCU in the opening round, the exclusion of Harvard and St. Mary's (again) and the first-round pairing of Butler and Old Dominion for the second time in four years, this was my biggest shock. The Badgers' performance of late screams a 5 or 6 seed.

I can see where yall are coming from with the 5, but they played a tougher non-con schedule than they normally do, and I don't think they should be punished too much for laying a couple of eggs down the stretch. The gripe should come for drawing Belmont, who despite playing in a weak conference has only lost 4 games the whole year.

Want to know what's really messed up?
If Utah State didn't beat Boise State in the WAC title game, the committee wouldn't have put them in.
This would've been their snubbed resume: 28-4 (vs Division I teams) Ranked in the top 25 RPI of 15 (probably would be a bit lower if lost to Boise State) SOS of 122 (not the greatest, but not in the 300s like everyone's favorite snub Colorado)
Not worthy of an NCAA at-large bid.

I am LMAO watching college gamenight with digger, Bilas and the boys shedding tears for Colorado and Va Tech. Dickie V just came on and cried foul, a great injustice to the kids, hes calling for Jay Bilas to become the new commissioner and reform the system for these "non Basketball" people on the selection committee. Jay Bilas? God save us. I don't know why I watch this stuff. I like Wally Zerbs more. Clemson has ZERO RPI top 50 wins, but apparently they belong.

Gottlieb was pretty damn good tonight...he was critical of the 19-14 teams and clemson, and didn't even mention VCU (who everyone else was pissed about)...also pointed out the apparently not obvious? that basketball guys on the committee would look out for their friends rather than picking the teams with the best resumes
also...hubert davis does not seem to understand the concept of the "eye test"...everytime he mentions it, he brings up computer numbers...

once again I watch these guys talk about the mid-majors on selection sunday and say...Alabama played SEC teams night in and night out, the competition is better. These teams didn't play anyone, THEN I hear them spew some BS saying, these coaches need to schedule better, play some better non-conference teams, and all I can think of is....the high majors wont play the better mid-majors because it's a Resume killer if they lose. Just bugs the heck out of me.

Utah State is in my final four along with SDSU, Ohio State and Kansas. I like SDSU to win it all against Kansas for the title.

Those griping about Colorado's snub should be making the point that by those standards Marquette most certainly does not deserve to be in, which inevitably leads to the observation of Big East bias.
