This clearly shows that there is a line between high-majors and mid-majors, but there is also a line between mid-majors and low-majors. I think this is one of the biggest problems hindering mid-major fans today. Casual basketball fans see Wisconsin and Marquette and everyone else. What they don't realize is on a bad night, when Milwaukee puts 2,500 in the seats at the Cell, that almost 200 schools in the country would kill to have that actual number in attendance at their games. Edit: Hell, look at the three conferences that were so embarrassed that they didn't even release a number. How many of these games were held on campus or at a school's home court (I'm too lazy to look it up)? That should probably be noted. That being said the Horizon League's numbers are impressive.
