Hold on! Some need to slow down. I don't know if that was going to Super King or myself. I love the fact Milwaukee will be playing MSU and they get 3 other games out of it. My point is, I just wouldn't call it a toury. More like a classic. Toury's to me are Maui, Old Spice, 76st Classic, NIT, CBE.

Sorry, I somehow lumped St. Louis with UNI as a Valley team, when they are in fact an A10 team. (In truth, they SHOULD be a Valley or Horizon team. The A10 makes no sense for them.)
From a schedule standpoint, it's still good.

I think it's important to note that the Panthers don't just get three other games out of the MTE, but three reasonably competitive teams in UALR, Texas Southern and IUPUI.
I'd feel a lot different about this event if the Panthers drew Michigan State, Houston Baptist, Florida Gulf Coast and, say, Saginaw Valley State.
Texas Southern participated in the NIT and UALR competed in the NCAAs a year ago.

That's a neat website. Although searching for Horizon League articles led me to their NBA Draft profile for Eli Holman, which contains the line:
"And on the other end of the floor he can grab a ton of rebounds and play solid defense against just about any power forward out there."
Except for Anthony Hill. (Go Panthers)

Ant averaged the following for 2010-11: Points=15.3 Rebounds=6.6 Assists=1.4 FG%=52.9% 3PFG%=25% Against Detroit he averaged the following: Points=9 Rebounds=6 Assists=1 FG%=35.8% 3PFG%=0% UWM won the games on the shooting of Boyle and Meier. ok, and bad coaching from us -edited to switch the word "had" to "averaged"

Back on topic, does anyone here even have your league game dates yet? So far, I've only seen them for Loyola.

Three days before final exams start, so there's no excuse not to be there, theoretical students that are reading this right now.

Per Valparaiso Wright State: Jan 12: vs Valpo Feb 11: @ Valpo Jeez, Valpo Wright State has quite a scedule. Ohio State, Florida, Miami, and Cincinatti, and they get Cincy at home.

Here is my guess of UWM's Horizon League schedule. I based it off the Wright State schedule and Loyola schedule (ramblermania) and by not giving a team 4 HL games in a row home/road.
Dec. 1 Loyola Dec. 3 UIC Dec. 29/31 @ Valpo/Butler Jan. 7 @ Green Bay Jan. 12 Wright State Jan. 14 Detroit Jan 19/21 @ CSU/YSU Jan 26/28 Valpo/Butler Feb 4 Green Bay Feb 9 @ Detroit Feb 11 @ Wright State Feb 14/15 YSU/CSU Feb 23 @ UIC Feb 25 @ Loyola tbd- YSU/CSU
Some of the weekend games could be the Friday/Sunday. Any thoughts?

My thoughts are summed up by my projections as the toughest combo games (based on playing the two travel teams in two days each).
1) Butler/Valpo- Duh 2) CSU/YSU - I think CSU still is a force, and YSU only lost one player. 3) Milw/GB - Milw still won the league last year. This falls to #3 because GB will be pretty bad(<YSU). 4) Detroit/WSU - Titans haven't been as tough as home; WSU will be worse than GB. 5) UIC/Loyola - UIC will be improved under Moore, Loyola loses too much, but gets a new coach.
These are NOT my projected finishes.
