I like the Panthers better, so I root for the teams we've played in the non-conference.

Arkasas-Little Rock and Texas Southern both won tonight and are both undefeated and in 1st place in the Sun Belt and SWAC respectively. Its nice to see a couple of our non-conference opponents doing well. Hopefully they both win their conferences and make the tournament along with us

In looking at Bracketology they have CSU a 15!!, and WVU a #5!. With WVU losing to Pitt in Morgantown I don't think they deserve to go Dancing. CSU a 15? "You can't be serious"?! How about an 11?

The problem we have to overcome is that the guys who do Bracketology know that no Horizon League team has ever gotten past the first round of the tournament. Until that changes, you can't blame them for projecting our teams as possible 15 seeds.

BBFRan: That is SIMPLY NOT TRUE. Perl's last team made the sweet 16, and Jeter's first team lost in the SECOND Round to eventual National Champ FL. The league was definitely named the HL in those years.

That was the Old Spice Challenge at The Milk House in Orlando the week of Thanksgiving. After beating woebegone Arizona State, the Stags narrowly lost to Dayton and Indiana State.

The MAAC is the host school in this event. I went down in 2009 and I'm going back in 2014.
