Dear Student Section: Please make a sign (or signs) that read: Yellow and Brown? Flush it Down! The same chant would also be appreciated. I want to say Pure Genius...Too bad I won't be there to say it... How about bringing toilet paper to the game as well? Would work well with the chants and the signs.

Dear Panther basketball fans,
Thank you for the continued fan support all season long at the U.S. Cellular Arena. Our last home game Wednesday is a big one as we take on conference leader Valparaiso. Please come out and be our vocal 6th man. This team and seniors Tone Boyle, Anthony Hill, Jerard Ajami, and Mitchell Carter have worked hard to get to this point and enjoy the enthusiasm you as fans bring to the game. As a season-ticket holder, we look forward to seeing you at the game and if you can’t make it please make sure to pass your tickets on to friends, family or colleagues.
Don’t forget this is the last game to take advantage of the season ticket exchange program. Call the Ticket Office today at 414-229-5886.
Panther Fans, we need you on Wednesday. My staff and I will make sure to have our team is prepared and ready to take on Valpo. We look forward to seeing all of you in the stands!
Go Panthers!
-- signed Rob Jeter

Be interesting to see how many minutes Mitch gets on Wednesday. Valpo is a really small basketball team.

Be interesting to see how many minutes Mitch gets on Wednesday. Valpo is a really small basketball team. I'm guessing zero, barring an unfortunate amount of foul trouble for Ant.

I don't see them having one of those "off days" any more this year.
I think they have figured it out. Panthers win this one.
And I would not be surprised... at all... if they win out, and take that 2 seed.

I've had Cleveland State penciled in as a W since we got blown out by them. And I maintain that Youngstown game might get interesting.
Valpo doesn't have as much to play for as we do. They can afford to drop a game. I think that might factor in by the end.

Just saw the ad for the game on JSOnline this morning. Anyone know what types of items will be given away for the "Fan Appreciation Day" promotion?

Dear Student Section: Please make a sign (or signs) that read: Yellow and Brown? Flush it Down! The same chant would also be appreciated. Doesn't "Flush It Down" sound like "Valpo, please dunk the ball." Maybe it should read "Flush them down!"

Nice to see coach Jeter making an effort to get fans in the stands. I don't remember anything like this in the past from him.
It would be nice to see him reach out to the students on campus in some way as well. Politicking for attendance is probably the most important thing Rob can do for the team outside of coaching, that and being vocal about the preferred name (branding) of the Milwaukee Panthers.

I'll be in the front row of the student section with a cheesehead and maybe a sign equating Valpo with poop.

Too much to say before I head off to work.
Each of these teams are among the handful of programs in the country to have had at least seven players (Valpo's had eight) score at least 15 points in a game this season, reflecting my October contention that they're among the league's two most talented.
You can analyze and evaluate every position until you're blue in the face, but sometimes it's simply about who wants it more.
Coattailing on what Anthony Hill said in the paper, this has been a tough place to win through the years, with the Panthers by my calculation having gone 75-17 at home against league opponents since the start of the 2001-02 season.
I hope that our fans turn out in full force to support the Panthers tonight and give the team every advantage it can possibly enjoy. After all, we're still solidly in the running for one of the top two seeds in the league tournament and there's yet another RPI top 50 win at stake.
We bear a big responsibility for helping lift the team's play, as everyone here well knows how raucous a crowd of 5,000 in The Cell can be.
