So we will have 8 games since Butler and UIC won't be participating,
Here are the games:
Hofstra @ Wright State (TV) Missouri State @ Valparaiso (TV) Cleveland State @ Old Dominion (TV) Green Bay @ Southern Illinois Milwaukee @ Buffalo Detroit @ Drake St. Peter's @ Loyola Bowling Green @ Youngstown State
How will we do?

Hopefully the league can do very well!
However I will say 5-3 at the moment but still deciding who wins which games...

Cleveland State at ODU is huge for the Vikings. If they don't win the HL toury, this win could give the Vikings an at-large bid.

Well Bracket buster are up next so I will throw out my predictions although I'm sure they'll be off For the Horizon League I see Valparaiso, Milwaukee, Wright St, Detroit, and Loyola winning I see Cleveland st, Youngstown st, , and Green Bay losing. I hope I am wrong on Cleveland st so we still have an outside shot to pick up 2 bids in the NCAA tournament. How about we just go 8-0 and call it a weekend

Judging from the Buffalo forum, it seems like they feel they're in an identical situation to us. The Bracketbuster isn't important, so they want to look past it. I don't think they'll look beyond it in quite as focused a way as we will, but if they don't take it seriously either I'm not as expectant of a loss as I used to be.

The bracketbuster is very important for us. Not a must win, but it would certainly be a big one.

VCU is looking very good against wichita st. right now. Wichita St. is a top 25 team IMO. They have lost a few heartbreakers preventing them from being ranked.(including a game against Uconn where they were a few bad calls and bad bounces away from winning) How did the CAA go so long without getting a lot of publicity? Other than the big east, big 12, big 10 and Mt. West conference, I would take the top half of the CAA against the top half of every other conference EASILY. ODU has wins against Xavier, Richmond and George Mason amongst others. If Cleveland St. can go in there and get a W, they will be a lock for the NCAA tourny. That is even considering a late season home loss and a HLT final loss to Milwaukee.

Horizon League starts off 1-0 thanks to Wright St's win over Hofstra

Butler beat UIC. Ya, it's not a BracketBuster event game, but Butler needs to keep winning for it's at-large bid.

Green Bay just blew it at SIU. last second layup, after a missed free throw, and they lose by 1.
And Loyola loses to St. Peters. 1-2 for the horizon thus far.

ESPN so far is making Valpo/Missouri State about 2 things:
A) Dick Vitale B) Hey everyone, mid-majors are things too!
Also they got the Horizon League standings wrong (Butler in third place) because god forbid they do any research.

yea Green Bay really choked at the end there...
However Valpo is currently looking pretty good against Missouri St.

Also, Valpo is wiping the floor with Missouri State. 37-23 with 1:52 left in the first half.

Oh my god, shut up about Dick Vitale
38-23 at the half. Valpo blew a similar halftime lead against Milwaukee.
