At this point, they will be better off when Tone graduates. Other than a few games, he just hasn't offered anything this season.

UWM is on pace to allow their highest FG% against since 2006-2007.
Admittedly, it would still be nowhere near as bad as it was that season.

Nice stat, Super King. Defense has been a problem all year, save a few games (Butler at home specifically).

This is a carbon copy of the Wisconsin game. Get blown out in the first half, play them even in the second half. Hell, we outscored Cleveland State in the second half.

That is because the other team can just coast in the 2nd half.

You say that like the second half score being even means the teams gave equal effort and execution. That's beyond reaching at this point for a positive.

If you can't shoot the ball well, and aren't playing well defensively; then what the hell is the purpose of continue playing the swing system? Even I can see that and I'm considered a sympathizer towards the coaching staff.

Nice stat, Super King. Defense has been a problem all year, save a few games (Butler at home specifically). Bingo! I don't think I need to pile on, its clear the product on the court lacks consistency and isn't what any of us hoped for this season. I feel bad for the players, especially Ja'rob who likely had some family at the game tonight. Butler in 48 hours and its anyone's guess what the score of that game will be. The publication that picked us to finish second in the horizon this year clearly jinxed us I did get a letter in the mail with a survey attached. I will have a few words of encouragement and likely some criticism.

But in none of those games did we turn our game around. Our opponents just eased off the pedal. It's not so much that as it is the fact that we're incapable of putting together scoring runs. Green Bay, for instance, is excellent at it. They're down just 6 3 right now after being down 20 earlier in the second half, and we know what they did against us. We corrected almost all of our first half mistakes. Valpo's field goal percentage dipped significantly, we committed only four turnovers, our bench started to contribute, scoring 7 in the second after only 2 in the first, and our FT% continued to be very good. But our shooting was just as bad, we got outrebounded severely, and we could never put together a run. The thing is, were it not for Valpo's run of I think 7 of 8 rebounds being offensive boards early in the half, their FG% would have been even worse than it was. But they tended to convert those second chance opportunities.

9.5% from three. If it weren't for Tony, we'd have been 0 for 15.

Kaylon had a weird night. 5 assists, 4 rebounds, a 5:1 assist to turnover ratio; 1 for 4 from the field, 2 points.

You get that big win every once in a while that tricks you into thinking its a wise investment. After watching how we performed at home against UNI early in the season, I didn't have us pegged for a bottom dweller. I'm just simply depressed at this point.
